MEET DEBBIE AND KELLEY
DEBBIE O'CONNELL
Debbie O’Connell is an award-winning LPGA Professional for over 35 years, a best-selling author, keynote speaker, mindset coach, and corporate event strategist. She’s spent her career helping both amateur and professional golfers unlock peak performance - not just in their swing, but in all areas of their lives.
With 15 years as a Head Golf Professional, Debbie has led premier golf outings and spoken for leading firms such as Deutsche Bank, CME Group, and Morgan Stanley. She’s the founder of Golf Positive, a thriving performance company dedicated to golf performance, leadership, and mindset mastery.
She Co-authored the curriculum and is the lead Professional for the LPGA Leadership Academy which empowers teenage girls with leadership skills through golf. She extends her impact as the Site Director of the Greater Union Girls Golf Program.
Debbie is the visionary Host and Founder of the Seven Figure Business Golfer Program™, a groundbreaking initiative that helps entrepreneurs, advisors, and top producers turn their love of golf into a powerful client acquisition strategy.
Debbie is a bestselling author of Golf Positive! Live Positive! and host of Audible’s 12-lesson series Golf Positive. She created the online program 12 Weeks to Triumph and authored the empowering ebook 7 Principles to Lowering Your Handicap with Flow State Golf. Her appearance on the Golf Channel and Golf Positive series on Audible expanded her reach and influence. Debbie is currently writing her next book, Suite Success: Wisdom from Women at the Top, launching in 2026.
Her numerous accolades - including being named a Top 50 LPGA Teacher, National Professional of the Year, NE Section Teacher of the Year and receiving the Nancy Lopez Achievement Award - speak to her excellence and impact in the industry.
KELLEY BROOKE
Kelley has spent the last 4 decades in the golf industry as both a top-notch player, a golf professional and a businesswoman. Her career has included the teaching of 50,000 golf lessons, television appearances, ownership of golf venues and more.
In 2018 Kelley was awarded The LPGA Professional of the Year Award. In 2024 Kelley won the LPGA Northeast Section Teacher of the Year Award and in 2026-27 Kelley was selected as one of the Top 50 LPGA Teachers.
Kelley has done many things to change the face of golf and recreation in NYC, creating dozens of instructional programs including the biggest junior golf program for children with disabilities in the world and the Police Athletic League Golf Program for 4,000 economically disadvantaged kids.
In the last 20 years she has operated three golf centers and three golf courses including the famed Bethpage Black (voted #1 Municipal Courses in America), Montauk Downs Golf Course (#5) and Harbor Links Golf Course. She also operates the pro shops at Merrick Golf Course and Lido Golf Course. Her companies currently employ over 250 people.
In addition to golf venues, Kelley has owned and operated two beer gardens and a full service restaurant. Currently, Kelley’s team operates a full-service catering operation at Harbor Links.
In addition to writing an instructional golf book “7 Days to Golf”, Kelley has written articles for numerous publications including Golf Digest, Golf.com, Junior Golf Magazine and NY Golfing Magazine. In 2019, Kelley wrote and starred in eight “Elevate Your Game” commercials which aired on CNBC.
In 2022, Kelley created and hosted a radio show called “Faults to Fixes” which aired from Boston to Philadelphia. She has also been a guest on many radio shows including the “Tiki & Tierney” WFAN Radio Show, “The Anita Marks” Radio Show on ESPN, “The DA” ESPN Radio Show and The Wall Street Journal’s “Secrets of Successful Women” podcast twice.
In 2015 Kelley joined the NBC/Golf Channel team as a lead instructor and regularly appeared on the NBC/Golf Channel and their digital platforms for many years.
Kelley was a guest star on The Travel Channel’s “Hotel Makeover” and has filmed dozens of featured video tips for LPGA.com, Epsontour.com, GolfChannel.com, LPGA Network, New York State, Jlindeberg.com, ussportscamps.com, BirdieSpot.com and more.
